* Sunday March 17th 2013 I am 70's: 2013 Prose
computers, our tvs were small
not like the tiny itouches to the
ipads or the big wide screens they
sell now. If it weren't for the internet
there wouldn't be any ipads, itouches,
or the technologyj we have today.
Kids don't know how they
have it. We have tablets
instead we sat outside and
played basketball or anything
we didn't have time to televison
and when we weren't outside we
were doing our homework.
Respected our parents
and we didn't have radios
to let us know that we had
a snow day or not. We would
walk to school and they would be
a posted piece of paper telling
us it was cancelled then we had to
walk back in the cold snow.
You would think we had a
way to communicate through
the radio but we didn't.
We didn't have cellular phones
or anything if we had to call
we would use rotary phones
or would use telegrams or
written letters to communicate
to each other.
We made with what we had.
So quit complaining
we weren't paid that much
as our first job but then again
the econcomy wasn't this horrible.
